As Ryan and I watched Nolan playing this week, we caught him doing this repeatedly: setting up his table and chairs, getting a little "sand-cake" all prepared to eat, then folding his arms and bowing his head in prayer before he would jump up and repeat the process. It was just so cute - one of those moments where your kids seem to innocent and darling. Yes, he soon came running in the house and was back to yelling and making messes, but for a few moments on a warm pre-spring day I was reminded why God so loves the little ones.
Then there was this exciting mess..... you can't see too well from the picture, but she really is covered in mud from her hair to her muck boots! She didn't mind and was very proud of the fact. Now Drew on the other hand, she didn't want anything to do with getting dirty and happily observed then came inside to color!
